The Obsonet interface comes as a build PCB without a case. The next two pictures show the interface'naked'.

I do not like to work with such a fragile and vulnerable piece of hardware, this very nice piece of hardware deserves protection!
Luckily, Sunrise have sold me a batch of the cases they use for example for the IDE interfaces. These cases have served me well for other carts either home made or sold like the ObsoNET cartridge.
So the first thing I did with the Obsonet interface was prepare a Sunrise case and insert the Obsonet interface. Not a difficult job, just enlarge the two holes in the PCB for the screw supports and make a cutout for the RJ45 connector. Last improvement was bending the LEDs up and make some small holes to see the lights come on at the front. And to be able top press the the switch a small hole in the back of the cartridge is sufficient.

I made a quick and dirty label, to my surprise Obsonet does not have a logo yet! So the label is boring white with some text, this needs improvement!

So here it is: Obsonet in a secure housing:
